The Hotels That
Shaped Us
Three Amsterdam hotels. Three chapters of learning. 187 garments. 207 meals. This is where Atelier KHAYBAR was forged.
Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam
Our first commission. A 5-star legend on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, Sofitel The Grand offered us something most first clients rarely give: trust. The brief was clear — 41 tailored three-piece suits for male staff, crafted in Italian Super 120s wool.
We delivered. And in delivering, we learned what it meant to carry quality across an entire uniform program, not just a single bespoke piece. The Grand proved the concept. It opened the door.
"A proof of concept becomes a proof of character."

INK Hotel Amsterdam
INK Hotel was built inside the former headquarters of De Tijd newspaper. Every detail honored its journalistic heritage — typewriters as art, inkwells as décor, the spirit of storytelling woven into the fabric of the space.
83 garments. 36 female dresses and 47 male three-piece suits. The vision was clear. The expectations were high. What followed was our most important education: about supply chain transparency, about what it truly means to serve a client, about the gap between intention and infrastructure.
INK Hotel did not break us. It built us.
"Every challenge contains its own solution. INK taught us to find it."
Hotel L'Europe Amsterdam
L'Europe sits on the Amstel River, a property that has hosted royalty and diplomats for over a century. 63 housekeeping outfits — every one individually crafted, every one a reflection of the hotel's commitment to dignity in service.
By this point, our process was refined. Our supply chain was transparent. Our quality controls were verified. What L'Europe confirmed was that we were ready — not just to serve individual hotels, but to build a platform that could serve many.
"Refinement is not arrival. It is preparation."
